Amigos and Rack Of Ages won Saturday's semifinals to reach the $112,000 8-Ball Teams final at Harrah's Cherokee.
CHEROKEE, N.C. — Amigos and Rack Of Ages will contest the 8-Ball Teams final at the Ultimate Pool USA Grand Finals after winning their semifinals Saturday at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort.
Amigos beat How You Like Me Now in the first semifinal, while Rack Of Ages beat Big Time Rockets in the second.
The final goes at 8 p.m. ET Saturday (1 a.m. UTC Sunday) — billed by Ultimate Pool USA as the biggest match in league pool history, worth $112,000 to the champions and $50,000 to the runners-up.
Why it matters: The 8-Ball Teams final is the richest match in league pool history — a $112,000 top prize from a $282,000 purse, per BilliardNews' preview — and the last league trophy of the Grand Finals week in Cherokee.
