DOHA — The Qatar World Cup 10-Ball semi-finalists were decided on Wednesday at the Ezdan Palace Hotel: Wojciech Szewczyk beat John Morra 11-8, Joshua Filler beat Miguel Salvilla 11-7, Daniel Macioł beat Konrad Juszczyszyn 11-6, and Albert James Manas beat Hsieh Chia Chen 11-8.

Poland places two men in the last four — Macioł meets Manas in one semi-final while Szewczyk faces Filler in the other, both scheduled for later today in Doha.

**Why it matters:** with the holder, Biado and Fedor Gorst already gone, the $100,000 top prize on Thursday is anyone's — Manas is the last Filipino standing after the Last-16 exits of Jonas Magpantay and Carlo Biado, while world No. 1 Szewczyk and former world champion Filler are the biggest names left in the draw.
